C is for Cherish - Motherhood

"'Cherish it all' they say - it's not going to last forever.

I never understood it until the day my elder son refused to talk to his friends with me in the same room!"

~Amita Gulia Sehrawat

B is for Brave -Motherhood

"Bold, Ravishing, Adorable, Victorious and Enviable - That's the definition of Motherhood which is Brave in all of it's forms."

~Amita Gulia Sehrawat

As I typed this and did a quick search, here is one more beautiful piece of writing I could not help but share.

Carry on, brave mother who tries when she’s tired.

Carry on, brave mother who gives unconditionally.

carry on, Brave mother who cries because she loves.

Carry on, brave mother who hopes without answers.

Carry on, Brave mother who loves without expectations.

Carry on, Brave mother.

Carry on.”

Rachel Marie Martin, The Brave Art of Motherhood: Fight Fear, Gain Confidence, and Find Yourself Again

A is for Appreciate - Motherhood

"A woman Appreciates her own mother the right way once she is a mommy herself!"

~ Amita Gulia Sehrawat

I have always loved my mother and have appreciated her for all she did and for she did not do. It was only after I was a mommy myself, I realized the real struggle she went through. Not only the phase before birth, during birth, sleepless nights, just the moments of awe, something changed between us which can not be described. I am glad that it was all for good and we never had to talk about it. Both of us somehow understood it without saying.

  Hola dear reader!

It's been a long time since I posted something - feels like ages. It is because of this reason, I thought that it would be good idea to participate again the "April A to Z Challenge". I have done it before and I completed it only once. I know this does not looks very promising. But still - I am back with this. A to Z Challenge 2019 Theme Reveal - BOOKS and READING

I participated in April A to Z Challenge back in 2015 and to my own surprise, completed successfully for two blogs – Quotes – Pregnancy and A to Z Challenge 2015 - WOMEN in A to Z PROFESSIONS . Then, the consequent year, the over confident me participated again and failed miserably - April A to Z Challenge 2016 - "WOMEN and ISSUES AROUND THEM". I did have some of my favorite posts that year despite of failing in the challenge.

This year, I prepared my mind at the very last moment and decided to go for it again. Coming to the theme reveal, theme for this year would be my other blog’s genre - BOOKS. I shall be posting quotes related to books and reading.

Thus, the Theme for this year is - “Books and Reading”. Fingers crossed!!!

Guess what, my other blog is also participating again. Do check out the theme reveal there – It’s again also related to books – Amita’s Pen. May be, both together are lucky again and hit the nail

Let the fun and learning begin.

Are you participating in A to Z Challenge 2019? Sign up's are open till 6-April.

Do you have a theme for the month? Check out other theme reveals as-well.

Reflections: A to Z Challenge April 2015

Phew...!
It's finally over. Yes, it was my reaction when I published the last post with letter "Z".

If was my year of participation and I am proud of myself that I completed the challenge on both my blogs.

I am glad I choose a theme and more glad that I stuck to it!

I got two reminder emails from the one of the hosts asking me to catch up. Kudos to them for keeping a good track of all. Both emails pushed me to catch up and schedule rest in advance.

For this blog, I decided to blog the pregnancy quotes with an expression or word starting with each letter of the day. While, some were easy, others were extremely difficult to find. I also came across several quotes I simply loved - I loved all I posted, but you know some just stays in your heart.

An interview to myself!

Q: Did I have a theme?
A: yeah! Check out the theme reveal...

Q: Did I finished with success?
A: Yes.

Q: Did I plan my posts in advance?
A: I tried to do that before April, but failed to do that.

Q: Did I post everyday?
A: No. While I managed to schedule some of my posts in advance once a while, I also had to work really hard to catch up many times.

Q: Did I learn anything?
A: Yes.
1. General knowledge
2. Importance of planning and drafting posts in advance.

Q: Did I get more views?
A: Yes, as compared to normal months.

Q: Did I get more comments?
A: Yes, it's incredible how fellow bloggers take out time for this amazing encouragement.

Q: Did I visit more blogs and commented?
A: No! I so wish I had done it. But my official work and personal commitments left me no time to visit any blog and I barely managed to post with each letter though not everyday.
I would definitely try to make up for it by visiting as many reflections as possible - at-least who those took out time to comment on my posts.

Q: Would I participate again next year?
A: Yes, as long as I am blogging :)

Z is for Zest - Enthusiasm - Pregnancy

Every time I felt tired during my pregnancy, my zest came back at one at the mere movement of little feet.
